Choppy layers. If mid-length to long hair is more your thing, try adding dimension with lots of fun, choppy layers. This gives thin straight hair more volume, helps define natural curls and takes some of the weight off thicker hair.

Short layers. Have lots of curls but like an easy-care, shorter style? Try out some short layers this fall. The total length is right at the shoulders, and the layers pump up the volume and really activate those curls. Let it dry naturally or use a diffuser to keep those curls bold and bouncy.

Hidden layers. This is a good option if you like long hair and your locks tend to be on the thin side. It’s a sneaky way to add more volume but keep the look of single-length hair.
